The 16PFworld.com Report is comprised of 6 sections:

  1. Response Style Indices

The 16PF Questionnaire has three Response Style Indices: Impression Management (IM), Infrequency (INF), and Acquiescence (ACQ). A raw score and "high", "low", or "within expected range" indicator is reported for each scale.

Click here for descriptions of the Response Style Indices.

  2. Global Factor Scores

The Global Factors are a set of five scales that combine related primary scales into Global Factors of personality.

Sten scores are provided for each of the five Global Factor Scales and the scores are graphed for easy identification of scores outside of the average range. The Left Meaning (-) and Right Meaning (+) of each scale are also provided on the graph.

Click here for a description of each Global Factor Scale.

  3. Primary Factor Scores

Sten scores for the sixteen Primary Factor Scales are graphed and identified with Left Meaning (-) and Right Meaning (+) scale descriptors.

Click here for a description of each Primary Factor Scale.

  4. Narrative Interpretation

This section presents information on the personality traits measured by the 16PF Questionnaire in profile and text form. The information is organized around the examinee's scores on the Global Factors, which are presented in order from most extreme to average. Thus, the first profile of an examinee's scores would consist of his or her most extreme Global Factor along with its affiliated primary traits presented in alphabetical order. Interpretive statements are provided for each Global Factor score. In addition, interpretive statements are generated if a Primary Factor score is outside the average range. Statements are not generated for average Primary Factor scores.

  5. Item Responses

The examinee's item responses are provided in this section.

  6. Summary Statistics

The number and percentage of "a", "b", "c", and "missing" responses are reported in this last section.

This section also provides the raw scores for each of the 16 Primary Factors and 3 Response Style Indices and the number of missing responses for each scale.

A statement regarding the norms that were used to generate the report (male, female, or combined-sex) completes the 16PFworld.com Report.
